Mrs. Kristin Cady
Kristin Cady is an experienced and dedicated educator with a passion for technology integration and preparing students for 21st-century learning. Originally from Orlando, Florida, Kristin's journey in education began after earning her Bachelor's degree in Elementary/Special Education from Flagler College. She later pursued a Masters in Instructional Technology with a focus in Blended and Online Learning from George Mason University. Additionally, Kristin holds certifications in ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and Reading.
Kristin's teaching career started in 2015, and she has taught a range of grade levels, including 1st grade, 3rd grade, and gifted students. Throughout her career, she has constantly sought opportunities to enhance her instructional skills and is currently pursuing a school Library Media Certificate from the University of West Georgia. This additional certification reflects her commitment to supporting the reading life of all students and fostering a love for literature.
As an advocate for technology integration in the classroom, Kristin believes in harnessing the power of digital tools to engage and empower students. She strives to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment where students can develop critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Kristin has a love for reading and can often be found engrossed in a book, averaging one per week. She also enjoys exploring new restaurants, spending quality time with her husband, and taking her son, Arlo, to the park.
Kristin is thrilled to be a part of the SPARK community, where she can work, learn, and grow alongside such an excellent staff. Her enthusiasm for teaching, combined with her expertise in technology integration and her dedication to supporting student literacy, make her a valuable asset to the school and an inspiring teacher for her students.
