Kelmethia Busby, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, has dedicated her career to the field of education and mental health. She holds a BA in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health from Argosy University. These academic achievements have equipped her with a deep understanding of child development and mental well-being, forming the foundation for her approach to teaching and nurturing students.
With over a decade of experience working with children, Kelmethia is now in her third year at SPARK. Her extensive background includes various roles that have allowed her to develop a rich and varied skill set, all focused on fostering the growth and development of young minds. She finds great joy in teaching, particularly in witnessing the progress of each child year after year, which reaffirms her commitment to her profession.
Kelmethia is excited to be a part of the SPARK community, a learning environment she describes as one that embraces all with love and knowledge. Outside of her professional life, Kelmethia enjoys a variety of activities that help her relax and recharge. She loves listening to music, going to the beach, and finding fun things to do with friends and family. Additionally, she has a special fondness for butterflies, which symbolize transformation and growth—qualities she deeply values both in her personal life and her teaching career.
