With a passion for fostering academic excellence and creating a nurturing learning environment, I am elated to serve the students, faculty, staff, parents and community of Peyton Forest Elementary School in Atlanta Public Schools.

I am a native of Mobile, AL. With 28 years of experience in the field of education, I bring a wealth of knowledge and leadership to Peyton Forest. I received a bachelor's from Tuskegee University in elementary education, a masters in elementary education and educational leadership from the University of South Alabama and a doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in Organizational Leadership.

Throughout my career, I’ve maintained a strong commitment to student achievement. I believe in providing a well-rounded education that not only focuses on academics but also emphasizes character development, social-emotional learning, and fostering a love for lifelong learning. I will work closely with teachers and staff to create a positive school culture where students feel safe, supported, and motivated to reach their full potential.

As an instructional leader, I am dedicated to promoting innovative teaching methods and staying updated with the latest educational research and trends. I aim to collaborate with teachers to develop effective instructional strategies, integrate technology into the curriculum, and implement data-driven practices to meet the diverse needs of students.
