    At APS, performance evaluation and management are set of processes through which supervisors provide feedback to employees on their performance, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for professional development.

    Our performance evaluation systems align with our district goals and are designed to be fair and objective.

    The Employee Performance Assessment and Training System (EPAT) is a web-based tool that allows supervisors to create, manage, and track employee performance evaluations.

    The Teacher Keys Effectiveness System (TKES) is a performance evaluation system for teachers that measures their knowledge of subject matter and their ability to effectively teach students.

    The Leadership Keys Effectiveness System (LKES) is a performance evaluation system for school leaders that measures their knowledge of leadership and their ability to effectively lead schools.

    The Counselors Keyes Effectiveness System (CKES) is the evaluation tool used to assess the performance and effectiveness of school counselors. It measures counselors' effectiveness in areas such as academic and career counseling, personal/social counseling, and program management.

    The School Librarian Evaluation Instrument (SLEI) is an evaluation instrument that ensures consistency and comparability across districts, based on a common definition of highly qualified school library media specialists who support and enrich school environments.
