Things You Should Know
-
New Online Application Process
-
The Georgia Professional Standards Commission (PSC) has implemented an online application submission process. Therefore, all certification transactions, including endorsement add-ons may be electronically submitted. The educator has the ability to complete an online application, the Verification of Lawful Presence (VLP), and the ability to scan and upload any supporting documentation (transcripts, I.D., etc.). Once the application has been submitted, the PSC sends a courtesy notification to the Certification Department stating that a transaction has taken place. This allows us to complete an employer assurance form and any other requests necessary. College transcripts cannot be opened and scanned. They should be mailed directly to the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
Please Note: The only transaction that cannot be submitted through the online process is certificate renewal.
