  • Atlanta College and Career Academy Application Window Open (Feb. 1-March 5)

    Do you know rising high school sophomores, juniors, or seniors who may be interested in earning credentials aligned to high-demand technical careers in Atlanta? If so, encourage them to apply to the Atlanta College and Career Academy (ACCA), an Atlanta Public Schools program that offers 14 career pathways. 

    Applications for the 2021-2022 school year will be accepted now through March 5. A lottery will be held  March 22-26 to determine which students will be accepted into the program next school year, and parents/students will be notified of lottery results by April 2.     ACCA Registration for the 2021-2022 School Year

     

    It is time APS families!!!!

    Looking to jumpstart your career by taking courses in the high demand fields within the metro Atlanta region?

     

    The Atlanta College and Career Academy is now accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year. All rising 10th, 11th and 12th grade students, join us for an informational session to learn about the exciting opportunities at the academy. Please consider starting with the Atlanta College and Career Academy in August 2021!

    Attention Parents and Students, ACCA has enclosed the following re-entry manual for our Return + Learn Phase II plan. Students in Grades 11 and 12 will return to school on February 16, 2021, click here for more information. 

    Atlanta Public Schools Intent to Return Declaration Form Now Open for Families:

    Dual Enrollment 

    Atlanta College and Career Academy is an Atlanta Public Schools program that will help students graduate with credentials aligned to high-demand technical careers in Atlanta. 

    Atlanta College and Career Academy offers two opportunities

    1. 14 career pathways at its 1090 Windsor Street and
    2. Dual Enrollment classes at Atlanta Technical College. The following information addresses Dual Enrollment.

    Dual Enrollment admissions criteria:

    • Student must be in tenth grade (or above),
    • Student must have a qualifying score on the College Board ACCUPLACER, SAT or ACT.
    • Eleventh or twelfth grade students can use their HOPE GPA (2.6) in place of a qualifying test score.
    • Student must be on track for graduation (see home school counselor for details).
