Miss Erin Baugh
I am deeply honored to be recognized as Teacher of the Year. As an Atlanta native, I am proud
to serve the community that shaped me and to dedicate my career to inspiring and empowering the next generation of learners.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Grades Education from Albany State University and a
Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology from Kennesaw State University. These academic
experiences prepared me to create meaningful, engaging, and innovative learning opportunities for my students. As a middle school social studies teacher, I am committed to fostering a classroom environment where every student feels seen, valued, and challenged to grow. I strive to bring history and global perspectives to life in ways that connect to students’ identities and experiences, while equipping them with the confidence to become leaders, thinkers, and problem-solvers.
Beyond the classroom, I enjoy dancing, roller skating, and painting; interests that keep me
creative and energized. I am also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, which has strengthened my commitment to leadership, service, and excellence.
This recognition as Teacher of the Year reflects not only my dedication to teaching, but also the
brilliance of my students, the collaboration of my colleagues, and my unwavering belief that
education has the power to transform lives and communities
