Curtis Douglass has been the principal of North Atlanta High School since 2014. Before his promotion to principal, he served as assistant principal from 2012 – 2014. Prior to his arrival at Atlanta Public Schools/ North Atlanta High School, Mr. Douglass served as an assistant principal in Gwinnett County Public Schools and as an elementary and high school teacher in Dekalb County Schools.
During his career, Mr. Douglass has focused on creating and maintaining a school culture that is inviting, nurturing, and academically engaging for ALL students. While understanding the importance of a student-focused approach, Mr. Douglass is cognizant that teachers and support staff must have the resources and other emotional support to successfully teach our students.
