Your Junior Year

The Journey to College | Junior Year

It's your junior year and applying to college is just around the corner! We recommend you stay focused on your schoolwork and start taking leadership roles in your extra curricular activities. This is a year to deepen your enthusiasm and commitment to a few activities in which you have an interest.

Additionally, this will be your first formal year of college advising. Choosing where to go to college is a big life decision. When faced with such decisions, it's important to do thorough investigation and research as part of your preparation. We recommend meeting with someone in the College and Career Center during your third or fourth quarter to develop a plan for your senior year and to learn how to prepare now.
