• Data and Information Group

    Comprised of three departments -- Research + Evaluation (R+E), Student Information + Applications (SIS), and Testing + Assessment (T+A) -- the Data + Information Group (DIG) looks after the life cycle of student data for APS. We collect the data; we provide applications, protocols and resources to track, protect and measure the data; and through research, we mine the data for positive trends to help our school and district leaders form better strategies for learning.

    As our tagline says, we dig data. More specifically, we believe in it as a mechanism to create beneficial change for our district and in the lives of the students we serve.

    Our purview is broad. We work with teachers and parents, district staff and APS leaders, state agencies and university research partners. We’d love to work with you.
