• Mission

In partnership with families and community stakeholders, Atlanta Public Schools Social Workers support the district's mission by providing comprehensive and equitable services that strengthen home, school, and community partnerships and promote students' thriving in school and life.

School social workers serve as a link between the home, school, and community. They work to ensure that students remain in school and graduate, reach their fullest academic potential, and grow socially and emotionally.
