Ms. Tiljanda Byse has been teaching for the Atlanta Public School District for 26 years. She has taught grades pre-k through fifth. Ms. Byse is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She recieved her Bachelor of science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Morris Brown College. She also, attended Central Michigan University and obtainted her Master's of Science in Curriculum Instruction. She later attended Walden University and acquired and Educational Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership. Over the years, she has been an Early Intervention Program (EIP) taecher, served as Grade Level Chaiperson, operated as a Classroom Management and Cooperative Discipline (CMCD) Faciliator, supervised student teachers, participated as a member of School Leadership Teams, served as a Girl Scout Leader, and has been elected as Teacher of the Year twice. Ms. T Byse is a passionate and dedicated teacher who takes pride in working with the brilliant students of Benteen Elementary School.
