    Welcome To Atlanta Public Schools Absence Management Department.

    Absence Management supports the APS employees for leave requests such as FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act), Military, Paid Parental, Educational, and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) workplace accommodations.

     

    Mission

    Our mission is to administer all leave requests accurately as we support the needs of employees’ health while adhering to the district’s policies and state and federal laws.

    Vision

    Our vision is to focus on supporting employees through the full cycle of leave and returning to work for student achievement.
