(K-2)

In 2004, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Albany State University. In 2006, I obtained my master’s degree in Post-Secondary Education from Troy State University. Prior to my service as an instructional coach, I served in the capacity of a first, third and fifth grade teacher.
In 2016, I joined the APS district as the math specialist at the former Fain Elementary. In 2018, I was fortunate to begin the school year as Finch’s K-2 instructional coach.
Throughout my professional journey, my belief has been that students learn best by doing, and that active teaching encourages active learning. When students see the value in their learning, they become invested. When they are invested, they are engaged! This is truly when the most learning takes place. I am proud to be a member of the Finch staff and know that together, we will.
