ESOL After School Tutoring

The Title III ESOL After School Tutoring Program provides tutorial support to identified English Learners in extended day programs approved in advance by the Coordinator of ESOL & World Languages. The Sarah Smith model incorporates the use of the online computer programs Lexia for reading and Dreambox for math. Students needing additional support on specific skills (as identified by the online programs) work one-on-one with a tutor to master the skill.

Any active (not monitored) ESOL student in grades 2-5 may attend the after school tutoring program. Bus transportation is provided to 4 major apartment complexes. Any ESOL student living elsewhere must make arrangements for alternate transportation.
