Dr. Christian Padgett

Christian S. L. Padgett is a veteran educator who is the Assistant Principal of the very best elementary school, Benteen.  He received his undergraduate and Master's degree from Georgia State University in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  He also received his Educational Specialist and is working on a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Georgia State as well.  Additionally, Mr. Padgett holds two endorsements in English to Speakers of Others Languages as well as K-5 Mathematics.  

Mr. Padgett started out teaching third grade and eventually taught all grade levels in Fulton County Schools.  Additionally, he served as a New Teacher Support contact, served on various district instructional leadership teams, and even instructional technology support. Through his work and helping to transform teaching and learning, he was recognized as the 2017-2018 Teacher of the Year.  Mr. Padgett also served as a School Improvement Coach prior to being an assistant principal.  Mr. Padgett truly believes in making sure that students' needs and interests are fostered to help their ability to be life-long learners.
