Mrs. Tamisha Brothers-Bembry earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) and a Master’s of Science (MS) degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and Case Management from Fort Valley State University and a Master degree in Social Work (MSW) from Valdosta State University.  She is licensed by the State of Georgia as a LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker). Her educational background and career focus on her passion for working with communities, schools, families, children and youth. Tamisha has been working in the field of school social work for over 17 years and has a strong background in truancy, program development, group/individual counseling, community engagement, needs assessment, resource development, advocacy and working with communities, schools, families, children and youth to reduce barriers to academic achievement.
