Ms. Terri Dunson

Hello. I’m Ms. Dunson and I am so excited to become a part of the wonderful Finch Family. I served as a teacher for students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing in APS for 14 years. I took two years off to help care for my elderly parents. Now, I’m so grateful to be back to serve these awesome students once again.

A little information about me… I’ve been an educator for many moons now and can’t imagine doing anything else that gives me as much joy and satisfaction as teaching little ones. I truly learn as much from my beautiful students as they learn from me. I taught internationally for a number of years in Cairo, Egypt and Seoul, Korea. I am passionate about all animals, wild and domestic. I have a very spoiled kitty named Daisy and doggie named Trixie. I adore giant pandas and was granted a fellowship to work at a giant panda conservation site in Chengdu, China a few years ago. It was an amazing time! I enjoy traveling and exploring other cultures. So far I have been to almost 30 countries around the world. In my spare time I enjoy yoga, hiking, cycling, reading, trying out new recipes in my kitchen, volunteering, and gardening. My favorite color is blue. I love Thai and Mexican cuisines as well as seafood.

Once again, I’m thrilled to be at Finch and am looking forward to having a “blast in the class” with my kiddos!
