Coach Dorē Johnson has been in education since the summer of 2015. Her background is in children's healthcare/radiology where she worked for 11 years, but her passion to educate children led her to pursue a degree in early childhood education. She received an Associate Degree in Teacher Education at Georgia Perimeter College. In her third school year at Finch Elementary, she was voted Support Staff Personnel for the 2017- 2018 school year. She has served as a paraprofessional for DHH, Special Education and grades K-5 at Finch. Currently, she is the assistant in P.E. where she loves to encourage the students to keep their bodies moving. Off the clock she is an energetic mother of three who loves to read inspirational literature and serves the youth and families in her community. Coach Johnson's motto is "Be the change you want to see in the world... change starts with you!"
