In accordance with Georgia Senate Bill 48, Atlanta Public Schools is required to notify families about the screening process to identify students in grades Kindergarten to third grade for characteristics of dyslexia. In accordance with this Bill, the letters below provide families with more information regarding our dyslexia screener and how parents/guardians may opt-out of the screening.
