Midtown HS 2022 and Family Engagement
  • Title I Parent and Family Engagement

Parental involvement is the key to student academic achievement. Studies have shown that when schools and families work together, students are inclined to succeed in school and throughout life.

Such engagement of families is critical not only at the beginning of the educational process but throughout a child’s entire academic career.

Atlanta Public Schools strives to provide schools and families with the tools and resources needed to form effective partnerships that result in student success.

  • Technical Support

The Office of Federal Programs provides three tiers of technical support to APS traditional/non-traditional and charter/partner schools that receive Title I funding by assisting parent liaisons and administrators with school-level compliance for Family Engagement under Title I, Part A.
