Frederick Wilson Benteen Elementary School

Ms. Iris Marsh is enthusiastic about educating the students at Benteen Elementary. Originally from North Carolina, she obtained both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Ms. Marsh has a genuine passion for teaching and learning. She has experience teaching all grade levels, from pre-K through sixth grade. At Benteen, she aims to assist students in discovering and embracing their unique gifts and talents while encouraging them to make connections to the real world. By integrating subjects, promoting hands-on learning, and facilitating student-led inquiries, Ms. Marsh engages all learners to develop into creative critical thinkers, which aligns with the core principles of the IB Primary Years Program.
