Inspirational Message of Peace Contest

It is with great pleasure that we announce the Inspirational Messages of Peace Contest winner from your school. The Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park and International World Peace Rose Gardens would like to congratulate the following student:

The competition is in conjunction with an important celebration - the “30th Anniversary of the ‘I Have a Dream’ World Peace Rose Garden” at the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Since Covid has been a persistent concern around the world for the last two years, we are especially grateful for the more than 2,400 students who participated in this year’s competition from Georgia, California, South Dakota and Washington, D.C. in the United States; and China, India and Gaza, internationally.

INSTRUCTIONAL PROTOCOL DURING QUARANTINE
- Students will not be engaged in a full day of instruction
- Teachers will post daily work assignments in Google Classroom. If students complete the work, they will receive credit and will be marked present due to Covid.
- Teachers will meet with students from 3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesday via Zoom
- All students received their individual schedules, which include their Google Classroom links, Zoom links, and student ID / log in information. If you need another copy of this information, please contact Mrs. McCrary at abmccrary@atlanta.k12.ga.us
