National Honor Society (NHS)
The National Honor Society is a nationwide organization for high school students in the United States and outlying territories, which consists of many chapters in high schools. Selection is based on four criteria: scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Debate Team
Studies show across the board that student participation in debate helps significantly with earning admissions to colleges and universities. By joining debate, you are increasing your chances to higher education opportunities. Practicing these necessary skills also allows participants to be better prepared for several career paths including medicine, education, government, corporate sector, law, and business entrepreneurship.

Mock Trial
Since 1988, teams from many of Georgia's public and private high schools, as well as several homeschool associations, have participated in the Georgia High School Mock Trial Competition. Coached by volunteer attorneys and teachers, teams of 14 students work together to prepare their presentations from case materials provided by the High School Mock Trial Committee.
