• Welcome to the E. Rivers Media Center!

     

    The Media Center is open daily from 7:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.  The media center is open for checkout daily.  Students may check out 2-3 books for 2 weeks.  If they need more time with a book, they may swing by the media center and renew their book for 2 more weeks.

    Students will attend Media Classes with Mrs. Boston.  Some of the lessons Mrs. Boston will teach students are:

    • Digital Citizenship lessons
    • Research lessons
    • Lessons on specific Apps in MyBackpack (Canva, Book Creator, etc.)
    • Literacy Lessons
    • Etc.

    Students should read and take Accelerated Reader (AR) tests to work on reading comprehension.  Students have Grade Level goals for AR and will be invited to an AR celebration at the end of each quarter for reaching their AR goal.
