Ms. Erica Williams
Erica Bush-Williams has been a committed and zealous educator for over 25 years. Ms. Bush-Williams has the fortunate opportunity to begin her service in education as a member of Teacher for America in New Orleans Parish Public Schools. She has extensive clinical and professional experiences working in Special Education ranging from elementary school to adults with developmental disabilities. Ms. Bush-Williams professional training includes an undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany in Secondary English Education and a master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Special Education. She has also earned endorsements in Reading and ESOL. Ms. Bush-Williams’ tenure in Atlanta Public Schools has allowed her to work in all regions of the district. She has had the opportunity to add to Benteen’s brilliance by serving as the Special Education Lead Teacher for the past 4years. Ms. Bush-Williams has been recognized for leadership several times. She was most recently recognized by Atlanta Technical College for hard work and dedication to the community, May 2019. Ms. Bush-Williams enjoys reading, thrifting and couponing in her spare time.
