The SPARK school library program empowers 21st century learners to develop an appreciation for literature, an understanding of diverse perspectives, the ability to work interdependently within a group, and a desire to acquire knowledge and broaden perspectives.

The School Library Media Specialist at SPARK aspires to: 

• educate students and staff about multiple literacies 
• integrate technology to enhance student learning 
• create a caring culture of equity, trust, and collaboration
• support the reading life of every student
