Midtown Summer Academy

  • Midtown Summer Academy  is a full-day summer program for all grade levels that combines literacy and math learning each morning and hands-on lessons through Power Up programming in the afternoon. Students will have the opportunity to receive in-person instruction that will help to address unfinished learning and academic learning loss, hands-on lessons via Power Up Programming in an engaging environment with embedded whole-child and social-emotional supports.

       

       

    The Summer Academy will have two distinct sessions:

    Session 1 (Morning): Implement district selected academic recovery programming focused on literacy and mathematics and provide social emotional and behavioral wellness supports for all students five days a week at Springdale Park.

    Session 2 (Afternoon): Offer APS Power Up programming (STEM/STEAM) at approximately 90 minutes per day, five days a week.
