Virginia-Highland Elementary recently received a Project Learning Garden (PLG) grant, which is a garden-based education grant program funded by Delta Air Lines!

By joining Project Learning Garden, Virginia-Highland Elementary will receive the following:

• Raised garden beds and soil 
• A fully-equipped Mobile Cooking Cart with an induction burner & Vitamix blender;
• A Garden Exploration Kit containing supplies and garden tools for garden-based teaching;
• A colorful, interpretive garden sign with self-directed learning activities;
• Professional development for teachers and school garden teams via online training modules;
• Access to standards-aligned lessons and recipes.
