C.L.A.S.S. Academy
C.L.A.S.S. Academy Creates Leaders and Sustains Success. The group will support identified young women who meet with in building mentors for accountability, affirmation, and support. Mentors help our students navigate the varied emotional and relational conflicts that young women face, all while developing leadership skills and providing accountability for grades and behavior in school. Students will gather to participate in restorative circles and peer-centered activities that build self-esteem, sisterhood, and school-spirit.

Midtown Theatre & Film encompasses all theatre-related activities at Midtown, including Coffeehouses, short films, curricular and extracurricular plays and musicals, and drama club. Students can be directors, actors, technicians and writers for more than a dozen productions put on every year.

Midtown Thespians
Midtown Thespians is the Midtown High School's Thespian Society, part of the INternational Thespian Society. Students who are involved with the Thespian society make contacts, take workshops, talk to colleges, be eligible for scholarships at the state and national level and see other schools’ work. As Thespians, students are able to track their achievements throughout high school through a point system and can earn enough in their high school career to be an Honor Thespian, National Honor Thespian, or International Honor Thespian.

Mindful Mornings
​Mindful Mornings is a club for students who are interested in using mindfulness strategies and yoga to lower their stress levels. Students will meet on the first Monday of each month at 8:00 am in Room E210 to practice a mindfulness strategy and a yoga flow. Students may bring their own yoga mat or borrow (and clean) one of Mrs. Carter's mats. Students will need a pass to attend, entering through the cafeteria. Mock Trial is a competition in which students simulate a real trial while competing against another school. We have competed in the top high school tournaments in the country, and our goal is to use the context of competitive high school mock trial to foster the development of students’ critical thinking skills, public speaking ability, work ethic, and self-confidence in a team environment.
