Inman Middle School offers several Robotics Clubs, most of which are teacher or parent volunteer led. Each club utilizes their own platform to engage students in STEAM learning, and function independently with their own missions, member criteria, schedule, and fees. Please contact the identified club leaders for program specifics and view the web sites to learn more about each programs. Financial assistance is available for all programs through the club leaders.

Students utilize the VEX EDR platform to design, program, and build a team robot, which competes in game-based engineering challenges at regional - global tournaments. We are a competition team using a high school level platform, so students must possess robot programming and building skills, along with a high level of maturity, patience, and dedication. Monday afternoon & Thursday morning practices run September – May, with several weekend competitions November – March.
Applications are available on our website and are due no later than August 30th. Students are expected to complete their own applications and request recommendations from 2 teachers or coaches. Only completed applications are accepted. Financial ability is not a factor for team eligibility. Please contact Laurel Miyake with all application related needs and Mr. Ruder for financial aid eligibility.
Robo Eagles - Lego FLL
Gamma Girls - Lego FLL
Students learn programming and building skills through the Lego FLL platform, and compete in LEGO League competition in December. Program is sponsored by Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, though one doesn’t have to be an active girl scout.
