Howard Middle School offers several Robotics Clubs, most of which are teacher or parent volunteer led. Each club utilizes their own platform to engage students in STEAM learning, and function independently with their own missions, member criteria, schedule, and fees. Please contact the identified club leaders for program specifics and view the web sites to learn more about each programs. Financial assistance is available for all programs through the club leaders.
Robo Eagles - Lego FLL
Gamma Girls - Lego FLL
Students learn programming and building skills through the Lego FLL platform, and compete in LEGO League competition in December. Program is sponsored by Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, though one doesn’t have to be an active girl scout.

Inman Gearbox Gang (IG2) - VEX Robotics
Students utilize the VEX EDR platform to design, program, and build one team robot, which competes in game-based engineering challenges at regional, state, national and global tournaments. Students must possess advanced programming and building skills, along with a high level of maturity, patience, and dedication. Previous robotics team and/or camp experiences is very helpful.
