  • Inman Gearbox Gang (IG2) VEX Robotics Team - Applications Due 8/30/18

Posted by Ida Centner on 8/16/2018

Students utilize the VEX EDR platform to design, program, and build a team robot, which competes in game-based engineering challenges at regional - global tournaments. We are a competition team using a high school level platform, so students must possess advanced robot programming and building skills, along with a high level of maturity, patience, and dedication.

Mandatory practices will begin in September (practice space is under construction). We have filled 7th & 8th grade spots, and are only accepting applications from incoming 6th graders and new IMS students. Applications are available on our website and are due no later than August 30, 2018. Only completed applications are accepted. Financial ability is not a factor for team eligibility.
