About the Howard PTO
At David T. Howard Middle School, our PTO is more than a parent organization—it’s the heartbeat of our school community. If you believe in supporting our students, teachers, and school spirit, you belong here. Membership is open to everyone, and together we are a powerful voice for Howard.
Our mission is simple: connect families, faculty, and the community to help every student thrive. We work side-by-side with school leadership to enhance the learning environment, fund enriching programs, and bring our community together in meaningful ways.
Our Purpose
We exist to:
-
Fuel academic success by providing financial and volunteer support where it’s needed most
-
Build a stronger community through events, programs, and open communication
-
Champion school spirit and celebrate our teachers, staff, and students
-
Advocate for families by working with the administration and the APS district to make Howard the best it can be
