Discovery Educator Network
(DEN) AmbassadorsThe DEN Ambassador Program is a Discovery Education learning experience hosted by the Atlanta Public School's Instructional Technology Department that helps build a community of educators who share, reflect, and learn together as they integrate digital media into their teaching practice.
Program Benefits:The program is ideal for educators interested in:- Deepening the effective use of digital resources in classrooms- Growing as a teacher-leaders, sharing successful teaching strategies with their peers- Driving purposeful usage of Discovery Education resourcesProgram Outcomes:- Gain a deeper understanding of Discovery Education resources, events, and learning opportunities- Learn instructional strategies for integrating digital resources- Connect to global community of growth-minded educators- Develop leadership and facilitation skillsProgram Details:During a fall or spring cohort, the district program leader meets with district participants three times for in-person learning experiences.Between those face-to face sessions, participants connect with other DEN Ambassador educators in the DEN Online Community, complete instructional challenges, and share with school- or grade-level colleagues.Program TimelineThe DEN Ambassador program runs two cohorts per year.- Fall | September - December
