E. Rivers Elementary School is one of Atlanta’s oldest public schools, opening in 1917 as a two-story schoolhouse. It was originally called Peachtree Heights School, but was renamed in 1926 for Atlanta developer Eretus Rivers who donated the land for its use. E. Rivers develops confident, resourceful, and respectful global learners through its tradition of achievement and excellence.

Our parent-led school tours give parents of new and prospective students an opportunity to visit the campus, ask questions and learn more about our school. Our monthly tours will be held one Tuesday a month between 9:30am and 10:30am. Your tour guides look forward to sharing their experiences with you!
