Kelsey Boyajian is an educator with 10 years of experience, with a variety of endorsements including gifted and ESOL, as well as her Reading Specialist certification. She has received extensive training on the Orton-Gillingham approach and has a strong background in STEM, serving as an advisor for the National Youth Leadership Program: Pathways to STEM for three summers in a row. She received her Bachelor's degree in English from Appalachian State University and her Masters degree in Education, specializing in Elementary Literacy, from Louisiana State University. She also holds her Tier I Educational Leadership license, which she obtained from Georgia State University. She has taught all elementary grade levels, notably serving as a K-5 Gifted Liaison for two years in Dekalb County before transitioning to fifth grade at Mary Lin. This will be Kelsey’s fourth year serving as a fifth grade teacher at Mary Lin and she could not be more excited to kick off the year in this wonderful community.
