PTA Meetings

  • Our mission
    1. To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in
the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children.

    2. To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect
      their children.

    3. To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

    What Does the PTA Do?
    • LISTENS to parents' concerns and ideas for a better Mary Lin

    • RAISES FUNDS for new programs, teacher improvement, needed school supplies and grounds beautification that school budgets don't provide (computer equipment, science lab materials, class garden project, grounds beautification, etc.)

    • TALKS TO LEGISLATORS to make sure that educating our children is a top priority in the City, County, State and National budget process

    • WORKS with volunteers to make Mary Lin a beautiful and safe environment for kids to learn

It only costs $5 to join the PTA! That five dollars goes a long way toward helping keep Mary Lin strong. Parents, grandparents, teachers and administrators are all valuable to a successful PTA. With your membership and involvement, we ensure that our families and government officials keep focused on excellence for Mary Lin Elementary.
