This is my 18th year teaching and 17th year as a dedicated Mary Lin Rocket! As a lifelong learner, a few years ago, I completed my Gifted Endorsement. This year, I will complete my Dyslexia Endorsement.​ In 2006, I received my Master’s in Education from Vanderbilt University, and my Education Specialist Degree in Arts Integration in 2013. 

Every summer I attend the annual Woodruff Arts Educator Conference to find new ways to integrate art in my classroom. I strive to provide an excellent learning environment for a diverse range of learners. I rely on my expertise and empathy regarding the social and emotional needs of each child guided by my knowledge of the strategies developed by Marc Brackett at the RULER Institute of Yale University.

When I am not teaching at Mary Lin, I enjoy living in Midtown with my husband Jonathan and Greta (beagle), where we love dining at local restaurants (research for my chef husband), enjoying Piedmont Park, Botanical Gardens, and the High Museum.
