Birthday Parties and Celebrations

Students and staff birthdays are recognized during morning announcements. Parents may arrange with the teacher to deliver a simple store-bought treat such as cookies or cupcakes to the school office on their child’s birthday. Parents should also supply plates and/or napkins if needed. Parents are encouraged to bring these treats to the front desk prior to the class going to the cafeteria for lunch. Treats should be provided to student's homeroom only (i.e. treats should not be for both DLI classes).
 
Balloons, flowers, etc. may not be delivered or brought to students at school and they may not be taken on the school bus. No birthday parties are allowed at school, and invitations, unless inviting the entire class or all boys in the class or all girls in the class. Otherwise, these cannot be given out at school. Thank you for your understanding!
