To the community and families of Bolton Academy,
I am proud and honored to be the new principal of Bolton Academy. Bolton Academy is an outstanding school that has benefited from strong leadership, committed educators, and a supportive community. I look forward to joining the community and partnering with you for continued success.
I have been an educator for 18 years and my love for developing learners of all ages is endless. I began as an elementary school teacher in Volusia County Public schools and continued as a classroom teacher in Gwinnett County Public schools, when I moved to Georgia in 2010. Before becoming an Assistant Principal, I also served as an Interrelated Resource teacher, Instructional Coach, and Local School Technology Coordinator at the elementary school level. I served as Assistant Principal at Bethesda Elementary from 2015-2019, and Camp Creek Elementary from 2019-2022. In both schools, I supported the development of students and teachers in the traditional learning model and in the Dual Language Immersion program, with the Spanish target language. Additionally, I served in a variety of roles: Title I AP, Title IX AP, Professional Development AP, Special Education Administrator, Testing Coordinator, and thoroughly enjoyed working side by side in professional learning communities with the instructional and support staff.
As the principal of Bolton Academy, I am proud to be able to work with the staff and community to ensure that our students are supported in a rigorous learning environment that promotes inquiry, reflection, respect, and compassion, while always prioritizing a sense of belonging. I look forward to meeting each of you soon and working with you to achieve this goal and more for our amazing Bolton Academy students. We are Bolton Strong, a diverse and rich community where our superpower is that we are one school with many stories!
