• Bus Riders

    APS Bus Stop Locator: http://aps-edulog.apsk12.org/livewebsa/webquery/

APS is now using the Here Comes The Bus app so that families can track their child's bus. You can find out more information and sign up HERE.

All bus riders will receive a bus tag on the first day of school to put on his or her backpack. Please make sure it stays on your child's backpack at all times even if he or she only rides the bus occasionally. You do not need to let the school know what your child's bus schedule is - this is something that you will communicate with your teacher on a daily/weekly basis and your teacher will be the one to make sure your child follows the correct dismissal procedure.

    Bus Transportation Policies

    • Mary Lin is going to follow the APS Transportation policy which states that students are only permitted to ride the bus that is assigned to their household.

    • APS buses can only transport students who are assigned to that specific bus, based on their home address.

    • For playdates where students are going home with another family, we ask that parents utilize carpool or walk/bike to pick those students up. We will not be able to send students home on buses that are not their assigned bus.

    Bus Routes

APS updates bus routes throughout the summer. All routes for the school year should be posted by the last week of July, and can be found on the APS Transportation website: https://www.atlantapublicschools.us/transportation.

    Bus Stop Postcards

All students residing within the bus ridership zone (outside of a 1-mile walking radius from the school) will receive a postcard with their bus stop information, times, and bus route number from APS Transportation before the first day of school.

    Students with Disabilities Transportation

Students who have special transportation as outlined in their IEP will receive route information phone calls from APS Transportation the last week of July. Reach out to Ms. Gina Matias, Special Education Lead Teacher, at gmatias@apsk12.org if you have questions about your Special Education student's transportation.

    APS Transportation Call Center

You can reach the call center at (404) 802-5500. If you ever need anything regarding APS Transportation, this is your go-to contact. For something school-specific, you can reach out to Mary Lin's AP, Katie Zubrowski at kzubrowski@apsk12.org
