DEAR FAMILIES,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! My name is Nicole Hinton, and I am the Lead Gifted contact at Bolton Academy. 

We will continue utilizing the cluster and collaboration models. We are continuing with the Innovation Block. This is when students will have class with Mrs. Fowler, our Gifted endorsed Science Innovation Lab teacher. All students will attend this class as a part of the Specials rotation. Gifted identified students will have a second Innovation Block on Fridays. Second grade Gifted identified students will receive their services from Ms. Fowler. We have a few homeroom teachers that are endorsed and students will receive services from them. Those teachers are: Mrs. Adcock, Ms. Pookrum, Ms. Coleman, Mr. Armstrong, and Ms. Richardson. 

All teachers with Gifted identified students on their roster will have access to a Google Classroom specifically for resources & strategies to help grow the gifted learner. Gifted eligibility testing will occur second semester for students who qualify for testing in grades K-5.
