MISSION
The mission of the Mays Cluster is to prepare students to become 21st century learners who are ready for college, career, and beyond. VISION
The Mays Cluster vision is to provide instruction that is standards-based, integrated and rigorous, focusing on the whole child while collaborating with all constituents to prepare students for graduation and beyond.

PRIORITY DISCUSSION SUMMARY
First Priority: Literacy & Family Engagement
Dr. Lawrence: Sneaker Ball- New standards will be announced
Mr. Garlington: Tied
Mrs. Perry: Literacy Night 2/13
Williams:
Momon: Literacy Night First Semester
All schools have had at least one event tying in Family Engagement with Literacy.
Second Priority: Special Education (In Progress)
Mays Cluster: Family Engagement event for Special ED Dept. on Feb 5th
All schools were represented.Lawrence: APS/ Records - Special Ed audit. Notify parents of audit results. Each school was believed to be in good standing. Currently looking at FTE.
Joiner: Coordinators will do audits on a monthly basis- to all schools
Garlington: Learning targets will also be reviewed to ensure we are thriving in all requirements.
Action Steps for Special Education:
Momon: Every school has their DSE instructional walk to ensure whole teaching models are being implemented effectively. Suggests that everyone has those walks to ensure efficiency.
Miller: Perhaps posting an event focusing on Special Education -
