What is the age requirement for a student to enroll in Pre-K?
Posted by:To be eligible for the 2024-2025 school year, your child must turn 4 before September 1st, 2024.

If we live outside of the APS attendance zone, is my child eligible to participate in the program?
Posted by:No. If your home address is not zoned for Atlanta Public Schools, you are not eligible to participate. If you are unsure if your address is zoned for APS click here to verify.

If I am an APS employee but I do not live in the attendance zone, can my child participate?
Posted by:Yes. Proof of employment such as a badge or check stub is required.

If my child is eligible for Kindergarten, is he/she still eligible to enroll in Pre-K?
Posted by:No. If your child is eligible for Kindergarten, please contact your zoned school for registration information.

If my child is placed on a waiting list, How can I find out if they have been moved up on the list?
