    The Parkside Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the purpose of supporting the students, families, teachers, and staff of Parkside Elementary by recruiting volunteers, raising funds, and organizing events that enhance educational opportunities, foster community engagement, and promote the overall well-being of the school.

    Contributions to the Parkside Foundation will be used to enhance the learning environment and academic programs at Parkside Elementary. Funds will support capital projects like upgrading outdoor play areas and classroom spaces, purchasing new technology and educational equipment, and enhancing curriculum resources. Additionally, donations will help operate school events, provide teacher grants for innovative classroom projects, and improve overall student learning outcomes.

    The Parkside Foundation raises funds by applying for grants from foundations and corporations that align with our mission. We also engage the community by soliciting donations from individuals and organizing fundraising events. These efforts ensure sustainable support for the school’s initiatives and programs.

    Create an Inclusive Playground for All

    The Parkside Foundation is raising funds to update the playground located in the field to become accessible for all of our students, including those with severe disabilities. This initiative will ensure that every child, regardless of their abilities, can enjoy outdoor play, foster social connections, and benefit from physical activity in a safe and welcoming environment.
