APS will close all schools and offices effective Monday, March 16. We anticipate that, at a minimum, District schools and offices will remain closed for at least two weeks and potentially extend beyond Spring Break (April 6 - 10).

Meals and Food Resources
All APS student can receive free bagged meals that will be delivered at bus stops. Click here to open a printable list of APS School Bus food delivery stops and times.
All APS students can daily receive free bagged meals at the following school sites, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Students can receive: Breakfast and lunch grab-and-go bags, fresh produce provide by local nonprofit Goodr, and shelf-stable foods provided by the Atlanta Community Food Bank (i.e. nonperishables).

During this school closure, APS and Parkside will be using Distance Learning through digital and/or paper-based platforms.
The purpose of Distance Learning is to provide students with instructional resources that will support learning at home. The work assigned during these days is aligned to previously taught Georgia Standards of Excellence.
To ensure that all students are held accountable for completing the assigned tasks, a calendar of activities for each grade level has been developed to ensure that students are actively engaged in day-to-day learning.

It is Parkside’s desire to make the Distance Learning days a meaningful experience for our students. Your help in facilitating the use of these days is greatly appreciated and necessary for this to be successful.
