Saskia Benjamin

Saskia Benjamin has over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector with a background in arts administration and city planning. She was most recently the Executive Director of Art Papers for 11 years where she had overall strategic and operational responsibility for Art Papers’ staff, programs, fundraising, strategic planning, board development, and stewardship of mission. She is currently a nonprofit consultant with Purpose Possible specializing in interim leadership roles, grant writing, and fund development plans. She also manages The Temporary Art Center and Temporary Studios with her husband, Scott, an artist.

In addition to volunteering her time on the Board of Trustees for D.T. Howard Middle School, Saskia is also the Board President of the Little Five Points Alliance, and serves on the Advisory Board for Emory Arts and the Steering Committee for the Metro Atlanta Arts Collaborative.

Saskia lives in the Old Fourth Ward with her husband and son, Ford, who is in the 8th grade at David T. Howard Middle School.
