Melissa Hawkins is a Super Lawyer with a law practice that spans over 21 years. She is licensed in Georgia and Ohio. She graduated from Emory University School of Law. While at Emory she earned the Community Service Person of the Year award. She owns a family law practice in Atlanta. Before opening her own practice, she was a public finance lawyer with a boutique firm in Ohio and Georgia.
Community service is one of her top priorities. She has served on the board of a variety of organizations from the International Center for Adolescents in Need, the Emory Law School Alumni Board, to the Greeting Committee of her church, Greater Traveler’s Rest Baptist Church.
She and her husband Arahn have three sons. Hilden is a sophomore, Levi is in the 7th grade at David T. Howard and Crew is in the 5 th grade at Mary Lin. At Mary Lin she participated in the PTA’s tour committee and the DEI committee.
