Get ready to kick off the new school year at the Washington Cluster Back-to-School Kickoff! This fun, family-friendly event is designed to welcome students and families with excitement, valuable resources, and strong community support. Come out to enjoy engaging activities, connect with school leaders and local partners, and explore helpful information from community vendors. This event is exclusively for students currently enrolled in a Washington Cluster school.

Participation in the Washington Cluster Back-to-School Kickoff is limited to eligible students currently enrolled in a Washington Cluster school. Please do not register if your child does not attend one of the schools listed below.

Transportation Information
Free shuttle transportation will be available for Washington Cluster families who need assistance getting to the Back-to-School Kickoff. Buses will depart from select school sites beginning at 10:30 a.m. and will continue drop-offs to the event until 1:00 p.m. Return shuttles will begin running at 1:00 p.m. to take families back to their original pickup locations.
Important Transportation Guidelines
- Children must be at least 4 years old to ride the shuttle.
- Car seats and strollers are not permitted on shuttle buses.

Are parent/guardians required to ride the school shuttle bus service with their APS students?
Out of an abundance of caution and safety, students aged 4 yrs old to 13 yrs old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

What is the age limit to ride the Atlanta Public Schools shuttle service?
Persons who are 3 yrs old and younger are prohibited from riding the school bus shuttle.

Will there be food available at the Washington Cluster Back-to-School Kickoff?
Each attendee will receive a complimentary meal provided by the Atlanta Public Schools Nutrition Department.

Bag Policy: All bags must be small and made of clear or mesh material to ensure a safe and secure environment.
