    Lowe
     
     
    Ramia Lowe, Math Instructional Coach and IB Coordinator---  Mrs. Lowe is thrilled to serve as the Math Instructional Coach and IB Coordinator at Parkside Elementary. She hold licensures in Elementary Education (P-5) and Middle Grades (4-8) and endorsements in Educational Leadership, Gifted In-field and Coaching. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and obtained a master’s degree from William Carey University in Mississippi.  She has over 20+ years in education,  working across multiple grade levels. 


    As a life-long educator, she believes that building relationships with students and providing them with a safe, caring and academically challenging environment will give them the confidence to rise to high expectations and take risks during the learning process. She is committed to sharing my passion for mathematics and learning because it is my belief that every child can be successful when equipped with the necessary tools and a growth mindset. She looks forward to supporting and collaborating with educators to strengthen instructional practices and support their work as they move toward achieving academic and instructional goals for all students.

    Michelin Taylor, Reading Instructional Coach --- Taylor has been with Parkside Elementary since 2006 when she started as a first-grade teacher. Prior to Parkside, she taught second grade at Boyd Elementary School. Eventually, she joined the Parkside Leadership Team as an Instructional Coach.

    In her current role, Taylor is responsible for supporting our Parkside teachers with instructional programs across every grade level and content area. She provides materials and resources for the teachers.  She facilitates professional training opportunities for the teachers and their Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). Taylor co-teaches model lessons with teachers. Overall, she helps build teacher capacity in an effort to improve student achievement and outcomes.

    Taylor is a graduate of Morris Brown College (undergraduate) and Central Michigan University (graduate school). She earned her Leadership Certification from Georgia State University.
