I am honored to have served as an Assistant Principal at Benjamin E. Mays High School for the past five years, where I found my professional niche after years of instructing Mathematics in Dekalb County and Atlanta Public School systems.
My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Georgia Southern (Armstrong Campus) and postgraduate studies in Accounting and Finance at Keller Graduate School of Management, along with a Specialist in Teacher Leadership degree from Mercer University. Throughout the preceding five-year period, I have assumed various roles within the educational domain, including those of a Math Teacher, Master Teacher Leader, and Assistant Principal. These professional engagements have provided me with a wealth of essential experiences. As I enter my sixth year at "The Hill," I eagerly take on the role of Assistant Principal for the Sophomore Academies, driven by my dedication to promoting academic excellence and supporting student achievement in the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year. #REACH.
